Hideaki Yamamoto
Background
  • After working in corporate sales at Daini-Denden (now KDDI), he established his own company and became the head of the sales promotion department of a major house builder, becoming number one in Japan with annual sales of 1.2 billion yen.
  • He then made a breakthrough in the home remodeling business.
  • During the course of his remodeling business, he conducted extensive research to prevent rust and mold from forming on water use areas and exterior walls, and succeeded in developing our original glass coating agent HardoLass.

Masanori Ikeda
Background
  • After graduating from university and working in sales in the finance and service industry, he joined Yamamoto Coating Ltd. in 2002, the predecessor of Yamamoto Holdings Co.
  • He was involved in the establishment of the glass coating division and group companies, and is currently active in a variety of fields, regardless of industry or sector, mainly in the management of the glass coating agent HardoLass, as well as in sales and sales promotion.
  • He is energetically engaged in corporate activities with the belief that “the glass coating agent HardoLass is useful to the world”.

Tsutomu Ando
Background
  • After graduating from university, he worked for 12 years at a securities company, mainly in IPO business. During his tenure, he was involved in the realization of IPOs for several companies, including emerging ventures, university-launched ventures, and fund deals.
  • After that, he moved to an operating company as the main person in charge of IPO preparation. Utilizing his experience at a financial institution and his knowledge of the market, he led the company’s listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market.
  • He joined HardoLass in January 2022 and is in charge of corporate affairs.

Hideaki Numai
Background
  • After registering as a lawyer in 2010, he joined Shuhei Yoshida Law Office in 2011.
  • In 2013, he obtained a decision from the Second Petty Bench of the Supreme Court (July 12, 2013, Minshu Vol. 67, No. 6, p. 1255), which is considered to have important significance for correcting errors in property tax in practice, which organized the framework for judging the illegality of determining the registered value of fixed assets.
  • Joined Nijubashi Law Office in 2014.
  • Appointed as a director of the Sozei Soshou Gakkai (Tax Litigation Society) in 2015.
  • In 2016, he joined the management of Komatsu Sogo Law Office (renamed Kotohira Sogo Law Office in November of the same year).
  • Currently, he is involved in all aspects of real estate legal affairs with real estate companies as his main clients. Most recently, as an expert in negotiating property tax reductions, he has handled many cases of various sizes from funds and real estate companies.

Background
  • After graduating from university, he worked on AI research at NEC’s Central Research Laboratory, where he published many papers and obtained patents.
  • After that, he has been providing AI-based DX consulting services to large companies, and has served as a representative of a major consulting firm.
  • Currently, he has established companies in Singapore and London in the field of blockchain. He is the chairman of the board of directors.
  • He was also involved in the preparation of the “NFT White Paper” compiled by the LDP NFT Policy Study PT.

Akio Hashimoto
Background
  • In 1983, after graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo, he joined a major trust bank and was engaged in planning securities investment operations. Subsequently, he worked as a securities analyst.
  • In 2001, he transitioned to a multinational investment advisory company and continued his work as an analyst.
  • In 2005, he joined a company in the healthcare industry, where he long served as an analyst, taking on responsibilities for general planning and management.
  • In 2018, he took on the role of part-time auditor at a pharmaceutical venture, and in 2019, he served as a full-time auditor at a major seafood wholesale company.
  • From December 2023, he has joined HardoLass Holdings as a full-time corporate auditor.

  • He has in-charge experience in statutory and voluntary audits for manufacturing, telecommunications, cable TV, real estate, construction, leasing, amenities (golf courses, hotels, etc.), and electrical businesses.

  • Experienced in financial DD, business DD, and business revitalization plan preparation for corporate revitalization. Experienced in both private and legal liquidation.

Kenji Ishida
Background
  • Hosei University, Department of Human Environment.
  • Worked in outsourcing for a major telecommunications company and a city bank to execute projects.
  • In 2010, he joined Yamamoto Holdings Corporation, the predecessor of HardoLass Holdings Co., Ltd. While working as a sales representative, he was involved in a wide range of operations including the launch of new stores, the human resources department, the quality department, and the sales promotion department. He worked as a business manager in the construction and remodeling division for five years before moving to his current position.
  • Above all, he engages in sales activities with the mindset of “building a relationship of trust with customers”.

Masahito Ito
Background
  • After graduating from Doshisha University’s Faculty of Commerce, he went on to work at Mitsubishi UFJ Bank and is currently engaged in the finance department of SoftBank Group Corporation, handling substantial fund procurement activities.
  • Subsequently, specializing primarily in venture management, he has held positions such as Executive Officer and Managing Director of SBI Holdings, as well as serving as Representative Director in two publicly listed companies. At Finance All Co., Ltd., he boasted a track record of expanding market capitalization to over 100 billion yen.
  • In 2020, he established the company Keiei Senryaku Center (lit. Business Strategy Center), focusing on supporting ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and expanding business support services for startups.
  • From September 2023, he has joined HardoLass Holdings as an advisor.

Takashi Naito
Background
  • Completed a Master’s program in Applied Science at the Department of Engineering, Keio University.
  • Upon university graduation, he joined a research laboratory at a leading electronics manufacturer. He participated in the development of new technologies related to inorganic materials, particularly glass materials, and their application to products. He has extensive knowledge and experience in product development, productization, and commercialization. During his tenure, he has filed more than 800 patent applications, including joint and foreign applications.
  • He holds a Doctorate in Engineering from the Department of Materials Science and Creation, School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
  • As the leader of HardoLass R&D, he is responsible for driving further technological innovation and the development of new materials.

Takashi Edo
Background
  • After completing a Master’s Degree in Applied Chemistry from the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Engineering, he joined a major wire manufacturer. There, he was involved in the research and development of polymer materials for wires, the development and commercialization of new components for mobile devices, and the mass production launch of new products in the technology department. He oversaw the technical and mass production launches of products for major domestic and international consumer electronics and device manufacturers.
  • He later joined a leading chemical manufacturer, where he was involved in the technical development of new resin products, including the mass production of new products using extrusion and injection molding techniques.
  • He possesses extensive knowledge and experience in materials, manufacturing, processing, evaluation, and standards.
  • Currently, he is leading the development of our next-generation flagship coating material, Eco-HardoLass, and is actively working towards its commercial launch.
Principal Researcher, Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Takashi Seki
Background
  • After completing a Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Engineering, he joined a major oil company. He primarily engaged in catalyst, materials, and process development related to polymers and liquid crystals. He has experience from initial studies to commercialization in areas such as materials design, synthesis, film formation, and molding processes. He also actively promoted joint research with universities and participated in academic activities, serving as an executive committee member, research group steering committee member, and director in organizations such as the Chemical Society of Japan, the Society of Polymer Science, Japan, and the Japan Society of Liquid Crystals.
  • He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Hokkaido University’s Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Currently, he is leading materials development for Hardolass coatings, focusing on the rapid implementation of these innovations into society.
Senior Researcher, Ph.D. (Engineering)
Saori Morita
Background
  • After completing her Doctoral Studies in Biomedical Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, she joined a foreign-capital company. She was primarily involved in the research and development of metal nanomaterials, participating in national projects, conducting joint research with universities, and engaging in academic presentations and paper submissions as part of industry-academia collaboration in base research. Additionally, she scaled up processes for commercialization and transferred the company’s technologies to the headquarters.
  • As a leader in Hardolass development, she is currently focused on bringing Bio-HardoLass to practical application.
Senior Advisor
Hidenori Miyake
Background
  • After completing his Master’s Degree at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Engineering, he joined a major steel manufacturer and its group companies. He was involved in corporate planning, business planning, manufacturing, and served as a representative in New York. He held an executive position at one of the group companies for eight years.
  • Currently, he is responsible for planning and promoting of Hardolass’ business strategies, including the commercialization of new products.
Technical Advisor
Tomoji Oishi
Background
  • Completed a Doctoral program in Chemistry at the Graduate School of Science, Nagoya University.
  • After completing his university studies, he joined the Hitachi Research Laboratory at Hitachi, Ltd. He served as a senior researcher in the Electronic Materials, Energy Devices, and Imaging Devices research departments, while also participating as a committee member in various technical, research, and educational committees, including the Chemical Society of Japan, the Ceramic Society of Japan, the Fine Ceramics Society of Japan, and the New Glass Forum.
  • Following his tenure at the Department of Applied Chemistry, School of Engineering, at the Shibaura Institute of Technology, he now holds the title of Professor Emeritus.
  • He serves as a technical advisor to the Company, holds a Doctor of Science degree, and is the author of numerous patents, books, and papers.
